Clearance of goods is the process by which imported and exported goods, by performing goods formalities, enter the country in the form of imports or leave the country in the form of exports.
Due to the current situation in the country, commodity clearance in Iran has very special complexities that many importers or exporters are not willing to cooperate directly with the country's commodity and prefer to have their clearance process and commodity formalities performed by experienced brokers.
In terms of customs, only people who have a customs clearance card are eligible for customs clearing agent. Those who have a customs clearance card have been certified by the customs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and after passing the customs tests, they have the opportunity to perform the customs formalities process on behalf of importers or exporters.
According to the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran, any importer or exporter, if importing or exporting, must have a business card with the appropriate commodity group to perform customs formalities. Usually many importers and exporters do not have a business card and tend to use the business card of others. Therefore, clearance companies sometimes have the opportunity to clear their customers' orders on their own business card.
